I have very limited phone knowledge, owning a Nokia flippy piece of crap and everything (but it withstood a few nasty falls, and so far, it has done it's job: call, receive calls, text and annoy the heck out of me every morning, trying to get me out of bed. BUT, I do need a phone that I can receive emails and be connected to the internet 24/7, sad but true... specially when your boss is sending an email @ 7am and I didnt receive it until i got to the office @ 9am cuz i didnt have time to turn on my laptop @ home and the wireless and wait 5 mins. So, i'll buy the cheapest one... maybe a Blackberry is better? No? Suggestions?

I am very interested in your points between the two phones and that this is a very early post I can understand where you are coming from but at this point 1.5 million preorders sold. Also its an open source OS. Iphone is great and it will continue to do very well. As long as Apple stays innovative with their device it will continue to be the "Standard" but i have to say G1 and android as a whole will be a very strong competitor to Apple, I can't wait to get mine and see the advancements in the mobile world 10/22/08 and beyond. Don't sleep on the G1 yet my friend.
