The site here is stripping out from my comment the fact that you need the lessthan and greaterthan symbol (shift comma shift period).

It’s taking the symbols out of my comments, probably thinks it’s html.

You don’t have to opt out from an IM with someone. Add a buddy called “Trout” or “Coho”, etc. INCLUDING the and send the $optout to that buddy.

The instructions didn’t say, but I’d also add those to the block list too.
