I've been a bit silent lately trying to tie together a few of the loose ends in my house. It also doesn't help that I have a longer commute this week because of the increased security and traffic from the DNC. Today, we stand at a new crossroads. Barack Obama, an african-american from Chicago, is the Democratic nominee for President of the United States of America. I never saw I'd see this in my lifetime, but here it is. Maybe, just maybe, there is hope.
