Poll Results: Hybrid Technology is Unimpressive to Most People

Digg has this story, that I agree with completely. I am all for renewable energy and alternative fuels, but the myth of the Hybrid needs to be stopped. Hybrids are too expensive, bring inferior power and overall don't really solve anything. If we could only have one source of renewable energy and have that provide power for all of our devices... like, say, Wind/Tidal/Solar + Tesla Roadsters... Wait, those two things exist?
