After sitting thorugh 7 minutes of videos trying to sell me the computer I obviously already bought. I check the computer setup and turns out the Recovery Partition was holding 9GB hostage. It promised that if given some recordable media, it would copy it over and give back that space. I placed a DVD-R in the drive. Thinking this would be a quick 2 disc deal since every DVD-R is 4.7GB, that would give 9.4GB of storage space, more than enough. Well, that would be if they gave me the option. The Installer wrote about 200mb of data on the first DVD, then spat it out. The second DVD it filled with 700 MB of data, 700MB... thats a CD-R. Now after 3 hours I am on CD-R #8. Yes, a computer that should have come with two dvds anyways, but did not. Is not allowing me to save the information on DVD-Rs. A media format it is more than capable to write to. Making me waste 10 CDs (and 2 dvds that it thought were CDs so 12 total). So much for 'Innovation'.
